Umm...the current EFT (2.13.4 i think and yes, still in the old forums but still easily found through google/any searching and still downloadable) works just fine as is without being fully compatible with the new api-s, just manuelly change the skill levels for your mods. Sure it's an extra minute of work but is that really a problem? |

Sure it's an extra minute of work but is that really a problem? Yes, it is. Between manual tweaks to see what the next skill level will do to my loadouts and keeping up with my training progression that would be alot of wasted time doing it all manually vs just clicking the update button to update or get back to my current skills. Gives me an excuse to give PYFA a try, i guess.
Really? That toon your on is 11months and 7days old and you can't figure out what skills you have and/orwhat skills you put in your queue? I mean if you had just started from scratch and everything's still only like 15~30minutes to train I could see that being a problem, but this toon I'm posting on is only 3months old and everything I'm training is at least a day and a half minimum, my other toons are at week and a half minimum for next skill up. |

Shame you decided to waste those on this forum complaining about how a free program, that still works, now takes as long to use as posting a witty forum response. God forbid you played back when there was no eft or skill queue and had to actually use a spreadsheet, set your clock/alarm to skill training times and actually read and memorize the ship stats/bonuses. Do you go out and buy a new tv when the remote control dies? |

And even assuming I did track all of my skills in my head, which I don't, it doesn't change the fact that having a button to revert all the changes I've made to help me plan my training is faster than doing it myself. As far as the rest, the number of skills I could inject for less than 1/2 an hour training is quite large. I am only 11 months old.
The above is complaining. |

The above is complaining. Yes of course. Sure. And like i said....thank god we have you to come and point this out, Officer Poopypants. You should pull him over and give him a ticket! Get yourself a little flashing light and syren maybe? "Pull over this is the forum police! We have it on reliable authority that you've been complaining! This is a violation of nothing in particular and will not be stood for!" You go get 'em tiger
Glad to oblige the unintelligent. |

The above is complaining. You seem to be having an issue understanding my post, so let me help: "It's called planning and prioritization. Figuring out what combination of skills benefits a ship, or series of ships best, which can mean multiple changes." - Here I'm stating a reason for a large number of manual changes to EFT. Not a complaint, just the way I use the program. "And even assuming I did track all of my skills in my head, which I don't, it doesn't change the fact that having a button to revert all the changes I've made to help me plan my training is faster than doing it myself." - Here I'm identifying the benefit of the functionality being asked about and stating how it helps. "As far as the rest, the number of skills I could inject for less than 1/2 an hour training is quite large. I am only 11 months old." - This is a response to some BS about how for some reason you think that 11 months is significant training time in this game. Hope this helps you out.
Defining the categories you are complaining about helps out immensely, thank you. |

Back on topic, it would be nice to know if it's being worked on. Not even a tread for the program on the new forums is kinda disappointing though.
You complained, got called out on it, defined what you are complaining about and called another a troll while trying to redirect your position? You sir, are not fooling anyone.

You complained, got called out on it, defined what you are complaining about and called another a troll while trying to redirect your position? You sir, are not fooling anyone. In order to be complaining, I would have had to express dissatisfaction with the current state of EFT, which I did not do in the post you identified as "complaining." I can see that case being made against my first post, which is why I made the second to clarify. The post you claim is complaining has no actual complaints as it did not express dissatisfaction with the current state of the program. It only stated why and how the functionality is useful to me individually. As far as my position, it never changed from what it was even before this thread started: It would be nice if EFT was updated to use CAK. And yes, you are trolling. While this is killing a bit of downtime, I think I'll stop feeding.
Implying dissatisfaction is complaining. |

Shame you decided to waste those on this forum complaining about how a free program, that still works, now requires a bit more of each of those. And it blows my ******* mind that people will choose a program that no longer functions as intended over one that does. To each their own.
What blows my mind is people that do not understand the difference between a feature of a progrom not being up to date and an entire program no longer functioning is... |
